FB Trying to Shut Me Out?
I have two FB accounts. Yes, two. The first one, I was shut out from and could recover only after opening the second one, fusioning so I kept friends, posts, photos from both on a single account was not possible.
Yesterday, in a library, I was forced to change password. I was stressed and forgot the new password.
I tried to change password again, in a cyber where I am not all that often. Today, I'm in a cyber where I am very often, before a computer I very often chose.
Both yesterday evening and today, FB denies me changing the password on this account until I have accessed it several times from the exact same computer.
I do not own a computer. I access the internet in cybers and libraries, and so, obviously, from different computers. What FB is doing to that account is tantamount to shutting me out from it./HGL

I checked out what the melodic similarity was between Star Spangled Banner and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. Both involve a dance rhythm known as polonaise mostly and in Swedish as polska. I think there are some bars that coincide too. Others don't.
But there is a spiritual connection. Perhaps of parody or substitute religion, or perhaps, like I hope, of a godwilled echo.

And precisely, Francis Scott Key wrote the poem on September 14, the feast recalling how the Holy Cross found by Helen was solemnly elevated in the Cathedral of Jerusalem. The finding itself is commemorated May 3rd. Most flags across Christendom echo the labarum of Constantine, and his mother Helen found the original behind that labarum.

So, earlier identification of Icanho, Boston of Lincolnshire. What wiki doesn't mention is, when St. Botolph arrived, the place was infested with demons and he singlehandedly made an exorcism, delivering the place.
He is regarded as the patron saint of boundaries, and by extension, of trade and travel,[3] as well as various aspects of farming. His feast day is celebrated either on 17 June (England) or 25 June (Scotland).
Of boundaries? Well, the one between US and UK seems to have been more stable than the one between US and Spanish immigrants (or in some same states also not least Spanish first-arrivers). And of trade? Well, that was the quarrel between England and US back in 1773. Tax on traded goods.
Whatever outcome you hope for in the quarrels in the US, how about invoking St. Botulph?

From Pamplona to Santiago de Compostela, we deal with 750 km on the pilgrim's mainly walking trail. The bus trip is shorter, just 563 km. (466 miles resp 350 miles). Now, the time for the bus trip is 7 h 40 min. The pilgrimage took me 50 days, once I had restarted* it from Pamplona.
Getting from Mexico to the US is less daunting. It's more like walking from Germany to France or from France to Germany.
Linguistically, getting to the South states of the US is like crossing the German-French border to whichever side currently** has Alsatia and Lotharingia, which are bilingual, like LA is, where less than half speak only English and where 36 % speak Spanish.
Culturally, the community of Hispanics in LA is more likely to make a shout-out than the community of Somalians in Ireland.
I am not totally surprised that Ireland and Northern Ireland have riots against immigration, and LA riots against the ICE. It would be more surprising if it were the other way round.
Back to fossil fuels.
So many right wing people who just can't stand Greta Thunberg (which in Australia involves the own country being a petroleum industry, which France isn't) will complain about too much migration. But petroleum is the difference between moving through the landscape at 73 km per hour (46 miles per hour) and moving through it at 15 km a day, or maybe 20 (my good days were twenty, but I had bad days and other delays).
Similarily, petrol twice over helps to reduce the number for farmers and bakers, compared to the population, since it involves tractors allowing fewer people to attend to more acres, and since it involves trucks loading wheat from elsewhere to whereever you live, rather than from a field perhaps 50 miles away, or bread from Marseille to all of Bouches de Rhône and generally from 50 + bakeries to all of France, for another industrial bread producer even just 6 bakeries, to all of France, rather than you having your bread actually baked from kneading to out of the oven in the bakery down the street corner.
At least over here, some quite a few on the right are concerned with keeping as many farmers and bakers in business as possible.
Similarily, fossil fuels and electricity help to keep the work force low and therefore the age of entry into work life high. Lots of frustrations boiling over in school shootings, horrible as they are, could have been avoided, not by denying the frustrated person a gun (some of whom commit suicide instead), but by offering them an end to education and a beginning of work life. Less likely to happen as long as machines keep replacing men.
I'm not convinced of the climate change that Greta Thunberg became famous about a few years ago, but some of the concrete measures I would agree with go the same way as hers.

Le second est d'une carte où j'ai mis le point en débutant dans les coordonnés du Caire je modifie les coordonnés jusqu'à avoir un endroit qui semble à l'œil correspondre à l'endroit du Madleen. Les coordonnés sont 32° 2' 40" N, 32° 14' 9" E. Ni les eaux territoriales d'Israël, ni de Gaza, à ma meilleure connaissance.
Comme je viens de noter, le point sur le Madleen tracker a très vraisemblablement été figé le moment que l'équipe jeta les téléphones portables dans l'eau. C'est pour ça que le bateau a pu être remorqué jusqu'à Ashdod, mais le point sur le tracker est resté là où c'est marqué.

Bon point, mais déjà, ils étaient assez loin d'Israël et de Gaza. Une patrouille israëlienne n'avait, a priori, rien à faire dans cet endroit.

Juste avant la frappe en guerre préventive (pas préemptive, il me semble), les dirigeants d'Israël auraient dû faire face à des actions légales.
Pour le kidnapping du Madleen. Et peut-être aussi, assez vite, pour le blocus contre Gaza.
Aujourd'hui, Israël est en guerre et pourra répondre "sorry, can't hear you, we are at war" ... ("désolé, je n'entends rien, on est en guerre").
Une paix pourra être rétabli assez vite, et le prix semble être de donner un rôle important à Poutine.
Et si le bourreau des Gazaouis avait quelque chose en commun avec celui qui en 1999 et en continuant à 2009 était le bourreau des Tchétchènes ?

What Israel Seems Not to Understand About Aid to Gaza
I have from two sources heard, the reason for the blockade is, when aid is allowed by UNWRA, Hamas takes the aid, sells it, and buys weapons.
First, the blockade is of longer standing.
But second, UNWRA being a united nations organism has to collaborate with civil authorities of the country or region. And the de facto civil authorities of Gaza are the Hamas.
Now, a boat like Madleen, or a truck coming from Tunisia through Egypt is in a very different position.
They don't have to positively collaborate with Hamas, they only need to be tolerated by Hamas. They can distribute food where they see the need.
Now, when Egypt, as ally of Israel, against Islamism, is beating down truckers who try to bring aid, this is not an example of how Israel is needed to combat Islamic values, it's an example of how Israel is fine with collaborating with a certain type of Islamic values when it suits them.
Hence, I am not sure that Israel absolutely doesn't understand what a difference Madleen or the Soumoud Caravan could make compared to UNWRA. It may be very tactical.

As I said, from the Israeli side, the pretended concern was that Hamas would embezzle humanitarian aid to buy weapons. From the Palestinian side, and not just the Hamas, apparently, Israel was giving too little.

I'm reminded of a detective story by Chesterton (his Father Brown fiction are short story collections). The Broken Sword. Finally, Father Brown, decades later, decides not to reveal this, because there have been no accusations on the monument against the victor of the conflict — a freedom fighter. If there had been, he would have spoken up.
Now, that story is fictional, as far as I can see. Sir Arthur St. Clare, the honoured culprit, has no wiki other than that of the one on Chesterton's story. The Brazilian patriot Olivier also has no wiki outside it.
Speaking of Brazil, Thiago Ávila may have taken words into his mouth that totally disgust people with Israeli loyalties, but that's not a war crime, what was done to the Flotilla kind of is and lots of what is done in Gaza certainly is.
Point is, bombing Iran right now seems a bit like the move of Sir Arthur St. Clare. Maybe there was a real risk of Iran achieving nukes. But the lying around Madleen discredits the Israelis as a source. Or, maybe, maybe, Netanyahu is trying to pile up corpses above that of Thiago's freedom (so far) and the physical ones of the Gazawis.
If those remaining in Israeli custody were released immediately, free to move, given a truckload of food (from a trusted source, like Jews for Jesus or some Palestinian priest in the area) and were allowed to go on a humanitarian mission where they wanted, and depart from where they came, boatway from Ashdod, restoring the Madleen, that would be a very good move. An even better one would be to ask Egypt to open up for truckloads of food. Probably more than the 120 that the IDF claims to have distributed.

So the answer is, on earth, you don't have to fear consequences, other than acts of God.

Mais encore, dire que vous n'avez montré aucune hostilité aux civilistes de Gaza avant le 7 octobre est postiche. Il y a un blocus qui a créé, depuis des décennies, des centralisations de l'aide reçue, qui ont donc quelque part empêché que les Palestiniens rebâtissent des vies paisibles.
Je pense que si vous permettiez à des navires français avec statut diplomatique et moyens de faire un peu d'administration, on pourrait acheminer d'avantage d'aide à Gaza que les 120 camions, et ça avec moins de risques de détournement par le Hamas.
