So, the blockade around Gaza, I don't think anything the Englishman said was apt to argue this blockade falls under "only killing civilians accidentally as one kills enemy soldiers" ...

Thunberg could be getting simply a small quantity of aid to Gaza.

She could be forced to back off, and she could mediatise it.

Or, she could be stopped from doing even that. Israelis have on occasion killed journalists.

She has a perfect right to be nervous, God help her it works out for the best ... for her and for the Gazawis!

She's one person from Sweden I'm not ashamed to be a countryman of.

And Liam Cunningham is doing for Gaza, what Sultan Abdulmejid I did for Drogheda. Ireland is a country where I habitually find more clarity than in Sweden./HGL

PPS, some people seem to wish it's a "one way voyage" ... I could live with that if they meant the crew could get a happy stay in Gaza after the voyage, like if they found the situation totally different, the blockade lifted. I'm afraid they might mean sth worse. That reminds me of some French militia being besieged in Rue d'Isly 8 days after the signature by de Gaulle, and the problem is, when peaceful French Algerians were simply trying to get them help, someone cried fire and the Algerians fired. One witness said, the ones holding the guns were Arabs, but the voice of the one giving the order was a white man (in France "White, Black, Arab" are considered as three races or colours). Firing on people who just try to bring food is somewhat closeish to the nadir of morals. And making a drone do it offshore from Malta isn't very human either.

The blockade reminds me that the grandfather of Israels "nasi" was a Belfast rabbi, who lived among people who back in the Capitalist pre-version of Holodomor, in the Gorta Mór, were fine with people having grown the wheat getting only the rotten potatoes until they died from it./HGL

PPPS, if a few weeks into the war, Netanyahu had interrupted fighting to do what Greta is doing now, with Jews for Jesus taking the risks of getting unarmed into Gaza, Hamas would perhaps no longer be a thing. I tried to send the suggestion to Likud. It was ignored./HGL
