Imaginez une situation, si vous voulez ...
- vous essayez de vous coucher tôt, pas de bol, on passe à côté de vous pour vous déranger
- vous essayez de vous lever tard, à part des questions de métabolisme, qui peuvent vous réveiller, il y a des hommes ou voitures qui passent
- vous avez perdu sommeil dans les deux bouts, vous essayez de recupérer par une sieste, on trouve ça excessivement paresseux de vous, et on vous passe à côté avec bruit, pour que ça aussi échoue ...
- et si vous restez chez vos affaires, réveillé, en train de faire des sudokus, il y a des gens qui veulent vous gêner pour ça aussi ... comme aujourd'hui un homme de comportement odieux, qui se mettait à côté de moi, sans me regarder, sans me parler, juste observer les bâtiments desquels j'occupe la devanture — ils sont en travaux, c'est pour ça qu'on me permet d'occuper la devanture, non ? Mais cet homme tenait à me gêner là-dessus, pour m'humilier.
Fort bien, que pourriez-vous réaliser dans votre vie avec une situation pareille ?
Moi, j'écris.
Cet homme avait l'intention de me couper des amis que j'avais fait là-bas, de "sonner l'alarme" que l'écrivain lu était un sdf "pénible" (j'avoue que le genre de situation ne me permet pas de faire un grand menage parmi mes choses, je couvre ce que je peux), et ces 24 h j'ai eu 10 lecteurs de la France.
Du monde ? Ça remonte, 689.

Imagine that your Mother Forced you to Abort...
By the way, is that a reasonable assessment of why abortions happen?
In the 46 states that reported data to the CDC in 2020, the majority of women who had abortions (57%) were in their 20s, while about three-in-ten (31%) were in their 30s. Teens ages 13 to 19 accounted for 8% of those who had abortions, while women in their 40s accounted for 4%.
The vast majority of women who had abortions in 2020 were unmarried (86%), while married women accounted for 14%, according to the CDC, which had data on this from 39 states and New York City (but not the rest of New York).

So, 57 + 8 = 65 % were under 30.
But surely, by 20 you have already moved out from your parents, haven't you? You have your own life, right?
Among Gen Z? Not universally, and that's stating it mildly.
So, imagine you were a girl who had been told to be proud of her femininity, encouraged to dress up, to wear a somewhat short skirt above reasonably dark or otherwise opaque stockings, to cherish your curves.
Imagine further, your parents have always told you no girl needs to abort if she doesn't want to, keeping abortion legal is about safe guarding her choice, they really never presented it as safeguarding their choice.
Then imagine that moment when it would be really awkward for you to insist on the condom or say "no, not now, I forgot the pill" ...
You were assuming that if you just happened to get pregnant, it would be no total disaster. After all, your parents had never put things as if it was their right for you to abort, for their convenience. When they had told you "some mothers really do better to abort, they are really just not mature enough to raise children" you had always assumed it meant someone else, right? Because the same parents (at least up till now) had always told you how mature you were, and if you weren't married yet with an apartment of your husband's, there was really no urgent hurry, was it?
You were wrong. When it didn't suit your parents for you to be pregnant, and you get pregnant anyway suddenly you weren't all that mature anymore. So, you gave in, your child is dead, but hey, nothing to be morose about! After all, it was your choice (the kind of choice where doing the other thing wouldn't really have been an option, if you wanted to stay on good terms with them, but it was in the end you who told the doctor you wanted to abort).
Is this a marginal case?
I don't think so. I think this accounts for most of the abortions up to age 30, most of the 65 % — and then some for the remaining 35 %, since some women over 30 are also depending on their parents or on a parent and fail to extract themselves from the situation, and so get deprived of independence. Or give it up.
In this landscape, some Christians, reacting to a very much more marginal issue, namely sex change, takes the rhetoric "they want to do away with parents" — "in reality parents are God's plan to protect the children" (not stating for how long one is in this sense a child) and see parental authority as something which needs to be boosted.
I think that most secular parents would if given the chance protect their child from a sex change (which is a slow process, fortunately). I fully agree teens should be protected from this. Ideally by such operations and hormone "therapies" being totally illegal. But concluding "hey, we must boost parental authority" supposes they would also sufficiently often i e nearly always, if given the chance, protect their "children" from abortion. Face it, if you were pregnant, you were no longer a child. And we would seem to see, this is not really the case.
So, imagine your mother tried to force you to abort. Don't obey her.

J'ai eu un débat en anglais. En français, il y a tellement de connards qui pensent me rendre service en m'évitant le débat, notamment sur internet où je peux le documenter et le partager. Quand je me réveille après 10 h du matin, un homme que je ne peux pas éviter et qui passe me fait la mine dégoûtée, sans doute que des gens comme ça bavardant à droite et a gauche découragent les gens à prendre un débat. Mais revenons au débat en anglais (que j'ai eu dans un cyber bien après minuit, une des raisons pourquoi j'ai dormi longtemps).
L'autre faisait référence à sa supposition que je ne savais pas ce que les apôtres avaient reçu de Jésus, on me l'avait dit, je répliquais que dans l'histoire, savoir veut dire qu'on me l'avait dire et qu'il n'y avait pas de raison de mettre en doute ce qu'on avait dit.

Or, vous êtes en train de me vouloir convaincre que "nous savons l'histoire" ?
Nous avons l'expectation que pas mal de gens et des places ont existé, mais de ceux-ci, pour combien y a-t-il une documentation faible?

Ah ... c'est connu parce que dans tous les pays ces jours les manuels le disent ... comme pour les fait historique, je vous encouragerais de vérifier la méthode comment quelque chose est supposé être su. En histoire vous êtes trop sceptique, en sciences naturelles trop dogmatique, ce ne serait pas intéressant de s'impliquer dans les menus détails du traitement des données ?
Pour l'héliocentisme, pas juste des nouvelles données, mais se rappeler de quelques vieilles données pourrait faire l'affaire. Vous traitez La Science comme une religion. Et le Théisme comme une hérésie. Comment serait-ce de traiter Théisme et Athéisme comme deux paradigmes explanatoires et Héliocentrisme et Géocentrisme comme deux astronomiques ?
Ceci m'expose bien entendu à des attitudes paternalistes de sa part, mais c'est au minimum plus intéressant que des gens qui évitent les débats mais s'engouent pour le mépris par rapport à mes horaires.
Or, pourquoi est-ce que ce serait intéressant de faire l'expérience mentale de convaincre un Théiste qui connaissait le mouvement de chaque jour d'un univers qui bouge autours de nous comme provenant de Dieu et les mouvements relatifs à celui-ci des corps célestes individuels (genre le mouvement mensuel de la Lune ou annuel du Soleil) comme provenant de leurs anges ?
Parce que ceci était le "statut des connaissances" qui précédait l'acceptation de l'Héliocentrisme. Quand un "statut de connaissances" remplace un autre, on espère que normalement le nouveau statut est mieux étayé que l'ancien, qu'il est capable de se prouver dans la raison vis-à-vis l'ancien statut. Or, ceci n'est pas le cas pour l'Héliocentrisme. On n'a pas essayé de prouver que les causes purement mécaniques sont, pour le Ciel, préférables à des causes volontaires (plus grandes que nous !), on l'a présumé sans preuves. On n'a pas non plus fait une quelconque tentative de preuve que l'Héliocentrisme suit des données visibles même en admettant le paradigme explicatoire du Théisme. Ce n'est simplement pas le cas.
Finalement, il y a eu deux causes plus au moins intellectuelles, mais pas de preuves strictes qui ont convaincu le public :
- des "grands savants" (comme Newton) l'ont dit ;
- notre vue que la Terre est au milieu n'est pas à privilégier vis-à-vis la perspective différente d'un Sélénite ou d'un Jovien pour qui la Lune ou Jupiter est au milieu. En fin du compte le Soleil est privilégié parce qu'il ne peut pas accueillir des êtres vivants capables d'une perspective subjective.
Il y a aussi eu certaines causes morales.
- selon ce qu'on a présenté, Bruno était martyr et Galilée martyr vivant pour l'Héliocentrisme
- vilification de l'Église qui avait imposé leurs peines
- héroïsation d'autres communautés qui ne l'avaient pas fait, et en plus, recourir à la réputation de Newton et des Sélénites redonne assurance à ces communautés (notamment protestantes et initiatiques) d'avoir raison "par la science" contre l'Église catholique.
Le cas est donc totalement le contraire de celui où Harvey ou Faraday fait une démonstration et celle-ci convainc, sans des partis pris communautaires ou indignations ou hypothèses loufouques sur extraterrestres. Mais il est présenté dans les manuels comme à peu près le même. Et en fin, le fait que (presque) tout le monde soit (finalement) d'accord est présenté comme encore un argument.

Oh dear ... it's "known" because all countries these days have text books that say so ... as with historic facts, I'd encourage you to look out for how something is supposed to be known. In the case of Heliocentrism, I think recalling some old data is pretty sufficient. Take a day off this debate, and then get back on how you would prove Heliocentrism to a Theist who had never heard of it, but who had heard of God turning the visible universe around us each day and of angels moving the single celestial bodies in it, apart from the daily motion.

Agar ou Sarah?
Un homme, Thierry Leroy, vient de dire en écrivant à Rivarol :

Ceci est approximativement juste si on parle des Arabes de la péninsule (ils descendent de :
- Joctan, frère de Phalec
- Ishmaël, fils d'Abraham et d'Agar

et donc en bonne partie au moins d'Abraham et d'Agar), ainsi que pour les familles qui sont charifes (descendants de Mahomet qui venait de la population Ishmaëlite-Madianite), même en dehors de cette péninsule. Par contre la grande masse d'Arabophones en dehors de la péninsule sont d'une analyse des débuts de l'Empire musulman moins "Arab" que "Mustariba" (arabisés), c'est à dire, ils sont d'autres qui ont adopté la langue arabe avec pas mal de coûtumes arabes, mais qui ne sont pas eux-mêmes de Joctan, Ishmaël ou Madian.

Les Gazaoui descendent donc (même si ça gène parfois de le leur rappeler) des mêmes patriarches que les Juifs.
Je base ceci sur la lecture de deux livres. En How the Holy Cross was Found, from event to Medieval Legend mon ami Stephan Borgehammar détaille que la population chrétienne de Jerusalem à la veille de l'arrivée (disputée, défendue par lui) de Sainte Hélène descendait des gens ayant fui les Romains en l'an 70 en Pella de la Jordanie, Al-Fahl, et retournés après l'appaisement. En The Desert a City par Derwas J. Chitty, l'auteur parle des événements arrivés sous l'invasion de Khosro II, quand des gens avaient des rêves et "retournaient au Judaïsme des ancêtres" (une analyse fautive qui présuppose que le Judaïsme serait identique à la religion vétérotestamentale des ancêtres des Chrétiens — ou peut-être aussi un reflet des conversions du Judaïsme rabbinique vraiment débutant au Christianisme entre les périodes de Constantin et Khosro II). Il n'y a donc pas de séparation étanche entre les Juifs, Samariens et Galiléens, les Chrétiens de l'époque de Constantin, les Chrétiens de l'époque de Khosro II, les Chrétiens et premiers Musulmans parmi les envahis à l'époque d'Omar.
Thierry Leroy a peut-être juste voulu dire que les Juifs considèrent les Gazaouis comme descendants d'Agar plutôt que de Sarah, alors il convient de noter que les Juifs ont tort là-dessus. S'il a voulu dire qu'il était d'accord avec leur analyse, il a lui-même tort.

I know it thanks to Dr. Gavin Ashenden, who mentioned his magnum opus I'm OK – You're OK.
Even clergy read him. Back when he was fashionable, no doubt more often Anglican and Lutheran Borad Church clergy than Catholic clergy, and where Catholic clergy followed suit (US, France, Netherlands) is arguably the main areas where clergy committing abuse of children and abuse of teens, heterosexual and homosexual abuse, mainly occurred. Sweden and Poland would have been less infected by that.
Now clergy are regretting having read it. Dr. Gavin Ashenden, a Catholic layman who was once an Anglican "bishop," is one who has reacted against this cult of Harris' first work (he published with his wife a sequel in 1985, which is called Staying OK, which was less read).
My fear is that such people will now exchange the cult of one psychiatrist, Th. A. Harris, for the cult of some other one, like perhaps Jordan Peterson.
There was a time, back in Chesterton's day, when Catholic clergy did moral theology independently of either Harris or Peterson. Probably, at least that is my impression, landing somewhere between the two.
Back then, also, they were probably less likely to de facto cooperate with de facto Commie type psychiatrists, like those of Sweden, against the liberty of a "patient" who is "attended to by Them" (reference to Experiment House*) because he is simply the kind of person with the kind of positions that Commies have a habit of detesting and silencing, among other things by psychiatry.
A clergy which continues this kind of cooperation, and which therefore scurries back and forth between poles like Harris and Peterson is basically making itself a harlot to these non-Catholic and anti-Catholic ideologies.**

A Lot of Countries Seem Eager to Judge me Based on One Page View in a Week
I am not close to quarterway through, and already I have these "other countries" blog after blog.
I think it is the one of 112 which comes after countries of 2 views over the week. That would make it minimum 61 countries. On the other hand, if 343 views are 1 country each, that makes more countries than there are on earth. Probably "other" also involves VPN-views trying to hide the location it was viewed from. There is some time since "undisclosed location" was a category on page views.
Anyway, it seems like some guys have been sending out post urls or blog urls to country after country, and have gotten lots of 1 view responses to the initiative, meaning whoever did that was content with LOTS of countries brought together for very superficial judgement.
My problem is not having many viewers, either in Singapore or in Israel, my problem is when certain viewer groups act to deprive me of other viewers that would be closer to my heart. Like in France or on US./HGL
