I would like many states to not be so flooded with farm workers from countries with cheaper labour.
One way is to punish the immigrant before sending the immigrant back.
Another way may or may not involve sending the immigrant back, but involves forcing the employer to pay full wages, so it becomes less rentable for them to encourage illegal immigration for a time and then themselves send immigrants back before they would acquire rights for having worked in the country.
But on top of sending back to also take away a mother from her children for ten months, that is excessive, even for the ones who prefer the first way.

However, wall builder Trump seems to give more hope than Norway (see previous):
Floricel's petition was granted and her new bond hearing is less than one week away; she is so close to getting reunited with her children after 10 months of being in detention and we need your help once again!!
Oh, wait, you mean the immigration police are not totally run by the people of Norwegian "Barnevernet"?
That said, I would encourage you to support the petition for Floricel, and when it comes to young Kai in Norway, perhaps you should be prepared for more than just signing petitions.

* Scythopoli, in Palaestina, sancti Severiani, Episcopi et Martyris, qui, Eutychianis acerrime se opponens, gladio peremptus est. (Killed by sword for opposing the extreme monophysites supporting Eutyches directly, I presume).
