Do you know the story of Klynn Scales?
She really was in an abusive home. She took care of younger siblings before she was even adolescent, and she was malnourished, close on dying, when a police officer saved her.
You see, her parents were into drug abuse and there was violence, not a very good place for their children, their home.
Note, the person who saved her was a police officer, not a social security agent.
In cases like hers, I'd agree with taking children away from parents.
Most times when they are taken away, it is not cases like hers, and the children may suffer more than they really or supposedly did or would have done with their real parents./HGL
