Zionism is Part of the Leopard - Confirmed?

New blog on the kid: Zionism is Part of the Leopard - Confirmed? · Assorted retorts from yahoo boards and elsewhere: Answering Charges against Catholicism in an Otherwise Interesting Video

I was watching this video:

Before or just at 1:00 into it, the narrator mentions the "seven thousand year old stone leopards circling the temple of Uvda in Israel".

I had to look it up, obviously. A date like "seven thousand years old" or "5000 BC" is usually carbon. If it is, it is arguably around the birth of Sarug in 2294 BC and the deaths of Peleg and Eber (in that order) in 2217 BC and 2186 BC. Actually, according to my latest re-calibration, a bit later, in 2153 BC. Abraham wasn't born yet, and his ancestry were still in Mesopotamia. So, the temple is in fact made by Canaanites.

I wanted to look this up, and it seems, Uvda is not at all the ancient name taken from some ancient source, it is a modern administrational unit, here:

Uvda (Israel)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uvda_(Israel)

Uvda (Hebrew: עובדה) is the name of a region in the southern Negev desert, directly north of Eilat.

OK, how did the region get that name?

The name derives from the Hebrew word uvda (meaning fact). The region was captured during Operation Uvda in the 1948 Arab-Israeli War, when the Israel Defense Forces entered the area with the stated aim of establishing 'facts on the ground', hence the name.

And the fact (pun intended) is, they got a leopard temple along with the bargain. If you read Daniel and Apocalypse, that should feel somewhat striking to you.

It can be added, the video also involves an allegation against Pope Gregory IX, here we have a better source for that story:

The purpose of Vox in Rama, rather, was to condemn a cult that had allegedly popped up in the Rhineland—and the bull was specifically sent to the city of Mainz. So, rather than being a document banning cats from Europe, it was a letter sent to a city warning them about a cult.

The details about the cult could be explained with the cats in question not being live cats, but involving hallucinations deliberately induced through hypnosis or otherwise some kind of charade, maybe even someone dressing up as cats and standing as statues./HGL

PS: other video to share on the subject:

A leopard ...? Perhaps. And more a head than a wing of it, if so./HGL
