What was the Real Problem?


That the transgender was admitted?

Or that Kamilla Nagy was admitted?

Was she forced there? Would she have been alive otherwise?

Did she really need it, or was a diagnosis over-dramatising what in other circumstances than modern psychiatry would have been labelled "throwing a tantrum" or some feminine stuff? I've noted, psychiatry seems to discriminate against women. Or "for" if you consider diagnosis as a benefit, but that's purely theoretical to the advantage of caregivers who wouldn't like to lose patients.

No, I don't mean they say "if we keep this man, or woman, we get ten € more per day", I rather mean the criteria by which they keep a man or woman and the ones by which they didn't keep the woman or man 60 years ago (DSMH is growing thicker!) make a difference between keeping c. 100 % and keeping only 5—10 % ... and that would affect their work opportunities.
