Sent to Prison for Opposing Abortion

So was Med. Dr. Xavier Dor (RIP).
Both have opposed abortion to the point of going to prison. Both have also done so in circumstances, not of legislation debates (in or out of legislative bodies), but in circumstances where you have to find sth to say when someone desperate enough to envisage abortion hopefully is to be saved from that.
If a coat hanger abortion ends in a death, and ten coat hanger abortions end in prison, perhaps a thousand woman will refrain from this evil because of that. And nine-hundred-and-ninety-nine to thousand won't regret that.
So, I absolutely find it good that Codice Rocco* punished coat hanger abortions by 1 to 4 years and medically assisted abortions by 2 to 5 years, both for the mother seeking and the med personnel providing abortion. If the mother was under 14 or deemed not in her right mind, whoever was deemed to have forced her into abortion (there's statutory forcing on that area, like statutory rape in some US jurisdictions for way too high an age limit**) got 6 to 12 years.
But some of us don't have the luxury to lean back on a decent state with decent laws, and some still try to talk the second victim of a proposed abortion (the first being the child) out of becoming that.
And some face actual repression for that, from indecent*** state power.

Palentiae sancti Turibii, Episcopi Asturicensis, qui, ope sancti Leonis Papse, Priscilliani haeresim ex Hispania penitus profligavit, clarusque miraculis quievit in pace.
* Italian Penal code issued in 1930, under Il Duce. Later he went astray in some matters, but the early years of this Fascism were decent. Pretty all round, unlike Germany's NSDAP régime, which instantly introduced sterilisations for some hereditary disease and reeducation camps for tramps.
** See how it has changed:
While the unrestricted age of consent is between 16 and 18 in all U.S. states, the laws have widely varied across the country in the past. In 1880, the ages of consent were set at 10 or 12 in most states, with the exception of Delaware where it was 7.

*** This can happen and has happened in non-dictatorial states. I consider dictatorship vs democracy a side issue. Decency is the main issue, and in dictatorships, Italy and Spain were decent on this issue, Russia and China weren't (and China still isn't). In democracies, Ireland used to be decent, Poland is half decent, US went more decent than before (thank you Mr. Trump, for naming Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett!), while Sweden is pretty indecent. On this and other issues.
° I chose him to commemorate, because he was a recipient of the acts of the First Council of Toledo, which back in 400 AD have a clean "filioque" in the explanatory creed. See Filioque far older than III Council of Toledo
