Someone said, and if it wasn't one of them, it was quoted by one of them, namely Belloc or more probably Chesterton, "there are three things women don't understand, those being Liberty, Equality and Fraternity" ... in context, the Chesterbelloc, while disapproving of the Masonic domination of the III Republic, did approve of the First "Ralliement" and also of the comment that there is a Catholic meaning of these three words.

There is a Catholic meaning of Equality. Among others, if you make a good or noteworthy or noted but bad argument in theology, it doesn't matter if you are a youtuber or a king, a beggar or a blogger, it is worthy of the attention of a cardinal.

Given some attitudes I have seen in Paris, it may be feared that the V Republic has come to be so dominated by women it forgets the Catholic meaning of Equality.
