We could imagine Earth is "magically" held in exactly the same place, doesn't move a millimeter apart from tectonic activity, and then this is not necessary.
I was thinking of tidal forces when I gave my answer.
a modern Geocentric would not say that Earth is more massive or that the Sun is directed partly by its inertia and partly by the inward pull of Earth, but rather that Earth's stability is due to some fact stronger than such factors (if either God or an angel for each day causes the Sun to pull graviationally on Earth from all sides, the pull it exerts at 3 am will be neutralised by the pull it exerts at 3 pm (of a given time zone). Or the pull it exerts on Sao Paolo at noon in Sao Paolo, will be neutralised by the pull it exerts on Honshu at noon in Honshu. The Sun will not to us anymore than to Sts Aquinas and Bellarmine be moving daily around earth because of any stronger pull that Earth is exerting on it, but due to other actors.
With tidal forces, we would be set. However, tidal forces do not equal gravity. One reason is, tidal forces are about a tiny fractional difference of gravity, due to a fractional difference of distance between the side of Earth (and its seas) facing the Sun or Moon and the one on the opposite side and the general body itself. This means, gravity in itself would be greater than tidal forces.

29.7827 km/s is the proposed average orbital speed, according to heliocentric biassed wikipedia, so, the speed of earth moving would be definitely less* than this, and it would be reversing each day. I e, earth would never got outside its normal position by more than part of its diametre.
A real physicist would arguably tell me what I did wrong.** Either way, what would happen would not disrupt earth from its place in space, and would involve no huger speed for people on earth to deal with than Heliocentrism is proposing. Robert Sungenis might tell me if he or his physicist associate Luka Popov had done sth on this or whether they thought the gyroscope effect surrounding earth (on their view) would totally neutralise all of this. Which would be equivalent to Earth being "magically" held in place, which as a Christian I cannot exclude anyway.

** Obviously one problem is, I should have added the mass of the Moon, so the combined mass is greater and the acceleration is less, and I am definitely ashamed of my limitations in vector physics giving this very over schematic approach to how the vectors would start to cancel out over the course of the first six hours.
