- 1) No more bombs on Gaza. Military action, if needed = on ground.
- 2) Gazawis (vetted by IDF as not Hamasniks, or at least not schwerbelastete such) are offered the opportunity for leaving Gaza, not just women and children, but all of the families, to become Kibbutsniks.
- 3) Meanwhile, the former Kibbutsniks of those Kibbutsim, not all, some, are relocated to Italy, which is presently facing depopulation and has many empty villages. Obviously this involves Italy as a partner of the peace process.
- 4) The kibbutsim given to Gazawis are then used to give Gazawis remaining in Gaza a more decent life, more food and more riches.
- 5) Other source of income for Gazawis would be a desalination station, in their hands, making water from the Mediterranean useful both for drinking and for watering kibbutsim, so the Jordan is not depleted.
These things would be more important than for me to be precise on what should happen to Hamasniks directly involved in October 7.
They are more urgent than the question of statehood, where I am on record as proposing a solution of three states (Christian, Jewish, Muslim) on one territory.
They are more urgent perhaps even than giving Palestinians exiled at the naqba a right to return to what is now considered as non-Palestinian Israel./HGL
