October 13th, 1917
We would normally be aware it was one day before the Czar the last time celebrated the feast Protection of the Theotokos on earth (liturgically it's on October 1st, but in the Julian calendar still in use in the Russian Orthodox Church, that falls on Gregorian October 14th).
But there is another dimension to Fátima.
It was exactly 125 years after George Washington laid the foundations of Washington D. C.
Not a coincidence if the message of Fátima is popular in the US, among Catholics./HGL
