Terruqueo

The terruqueo is a negative campaigning and often racist method of fearmongering used in Peru that involves describing anti-Fujimorists, left-wing political opponents and those who are against the neoliberal status quo as terrorists or terrorist sympathizers, with the tactic primarily being used by right-wing parties and Fujimorists to create a culture of fear.

I just looked up Fujimori, because I wanted to verify no one was describing him as a Fascist. Given what I read in Lyndon LaRouche on his treatment of indigenous people, that would be an insult to Fascism. Indeed, as a Neo-Liberal, he aligns more with Pinochet than with Fascism, and even Pinochet is preferrable, since Pinochet, as far as I know, didn't try to make women of indigenous tribes sterile.

I recall how Lyndon LaRouche or the publication New Solidarity describes doctors, under Fujimori, abusing other occasions of treatment (among which vaccinations, I recall) to underhandedly render indigenous women sterile. A horrible thing.

I wonder how many of the Right wingers* that occasionally read me who could be regarding me, incorrectly, as a terruco .../HGL
