Why Adam who fell was a single and living human person

OK, he was not "single" since he was married, but his wife and he fell at distinct points, each was single in his or her disobedience about the forbidden fruit.

Because, in a crowd, no one is really responsible and neither is the crowd.

But the sins driven through by crowds now are due to Adam having fallen.

It would have been horrible to give unfallen man responsibility or even being part of a crowd sin.

So, the only way unfallen man could fall was, if there was a single person.

And the only single person that an as yet unfallen mankind could need was an ancestor, not a representative.

So, when Adam fell, he existed, so did his wife, but no one else.

Hence, anyone who says Adam symbolises loads of different men sinning together or sinned as a representative of already existing men is presuming conditions that only came to mankind after the fall.

And condemning someone and his offspring to death and suffering for sth no one is responsible for, that's not fair and not who God is.

In other words, minimally this aspect of creationism holds, Adam was a single first man, created from the ground and not from previously existing "living matter" ... Pius XII basically said "you can as a theologian discuss this possibility behind closed doors," and he didn't say "you can believe that."/HGL
