PPS, at or near the end Jan Jekielek is discussing the difference between Hippocratic and Greatest Good Medicine. Now, the thing is, while psychiatry is often sold as Hippocratic, helping a man to find himself, it is very often, even apart from forced medications, simply in chosing whom to diagnose when criteria are ambiguous, because they don't need to sell it to all that many patients, they mainly sell to people who want patients to disappear a bit from the public./HGL
