Thank God!

Dear SPUC supporter,

In amazing news, MPs have just voted AGAINST the assisted suicide bill. The Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill was voted down by 286 to 270.

This is an huge relief. Parliament has stepped back from the very brink in rejecting this Bill which would have put vulnerable people at incredible risk.

People from a whole range of perspectives – disability, social work, domestic abuse, palliative care and the wider medical professional, and of course, pro-life groups – worked incredibly hard to prove to Parliamentarians and the public how dangerous this Bill is.

Thank you so much for everything you, our supporters, have done. I have been in awe of all the work you have put in over these last few years, and you played a crucial role in this. Everything you have done to lobby MPs and then peers, and to spread the word in your communities, really has made a difference.

Thank you so much, and enjoy the victory!

Leadbeater Bill — Vote No!

SPUC mentioned it was reintroduced.

But now the suicide lobby has reintroduced the Leadbeater Bill.

It intends to force the Bill through Parliament without the consent of the House of Lords – a move viewed as unconstitutional by most leading experts.

But the suicide lobby doesn’t care…

It’s down to us to defend life and the rule of law.

We MUST stop the suicide lobby on 11th September.

Please support SPUC’s campaign as we enter the final crucial phase.

And here is a story about the death pod:

The first person to die in the “death pod” was a 64-year-old American woman, who was taken to a dense and secluded forest in Switzerland and sealed inside the chamber with only euthanasia fanatic Dr Florian Willet by her side.

“Dr Death” set up a video link so that he could watch her die.

Two and a half minutes in, she began to experience severe muscle cramping. Six and a half minutes after the deadly gas had been released, Willet was heard to say, "She's still alive, Philip".

It was a full thirty minutes before Willet said: “She really looks dead.”

Willet was later arrested by Swiss police after strangulation marks were found on the woman’s body. He was released and no prosecution followed.

Eight months later he was also dead, killed by assisted suicide in Germany.

I Can't Write to House of Lords For You!

Brits, the best is to imitate or surpass recent changes in the US - make abortion illegal. But the second best is to at least allow side-walk counselling. Do your duty to unborn countrymen and to their unhappy mothers./HGL

I do not have a card, I appeal to my readers.

In Italy, under Mussolini, a doctor and a partner doing these kind of things would have faced 12 years of prison, each.
