A Story of St. Patrick Says ...
... he prayed for Ireland to sink 7 years before Judgement Day. And he took God as having answered the prayer.
If it does, and Europe has to receive Irish refugees, let's learn Irish, as many of us who can!

A Probably False Exegesis Behind Pre-Tribulation Rapture
Here are two verses, where there seems to be some tension:
And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it
[Matthew 16:18]
And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them. And power was given him over every tribe, and people, and tongue, and nation
[Apocalypse (Revelation) 13:7]
Now, Dispensationalists will claim, the tension is resolved by the "saints" of the latter verse not being in the Church, but being "Tribulation Saints" ...
I think it is excluded that there will be a clearly non-Church category of tribulation saints if the Church is still present on earth. The Church does not cease to be "the saints" whereever it is.
I also think it is excluded that the Church as a whole will be taken up before the Tribulation.
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world
[Matthew 28:20]
So, people of the Church are clearly meant by "the saints" that the Beast will be overcoming. If there are any other saints, that will be people directed to the Church, that may not have time to get baptised before they get martyred, but they will not be opponents of the Catholic Church.
Therefore I hold that the key to harmony is on some other level.
The Gates of Hades will not ... the verb is a form of κατισχύω, which in the LXX often translates
... while The Beast will ... the verb is a form of νικάω.
And also the object is different in an aspect. In Matthew, the non-defeated is the Church, as a single whole. In Apocalypse the defeated ones are the saints, as single members of her.
Here is a question:
If the Antichrist is already taking out the Church as a whole at the beginning of the 42 months, why is he still busy making war on and defeating saints when the 42 months are over?
He will presumably not be taking out the Church as a whole, ever. Even if the last member of the Church is the last Pope and he's rotting in Antichrist's prison, and only taken out and executed or brought to execution* a moment before Christ arrives, the Church would still be there.
Christ said, the gates of Hell, and Antichrist and False Prophet included, will never take over the Church as to make Her a museum piece with no life.** However, He did not promise safety from persecutions, and for 3 and 1/2 years She will be defeated in members in a purely physical, political, judicial sense: handed over to execution. But that will never be all of Her. Probably the reason why Knights of Columbus greet each other (as I have learned from Mark P. Shee's blog), with the greeting "Hail Hydra" ... even if the Antichrist will be the actual seven headed beast, it will be the Church that fatigues Hercules by growing heads after they are lopped off.
And yes, I think Hercules is a fairly apt model for the Antichrist. The last Pagan army of actual Romans that marched against the Chi-Rho, marched under a sign of Hercules. I also think it's Hercules that St. Paul names as the idol whose worship is punished by male homosexuality, as Hercules was the patron deity of exactly that, along with very machist physics. Was there someone in the MAGA camp who wanted to test the testosterone levels of his soldiers? Bad move.

* A scenario entertained by a Catholic novelist, I think Graham Greene.
** A Swedish poet, Atterbom, in a dystopia, considered the possibility of a state banning the Church but keeping the requiem Mass for so and so as a museum piece ... but as long as it's said by a real priest, it is a real Mass before God before being a museum piece before men. I think this was the Third or Fourth Adventure of Isle of Bliss (my tentative translation of Lyckslighetens Ö). It's a five act piece, but the acts are called Adventures, and not inappropriately.

- croire la Bible littéralement, c'était l'erreur de Martin Luther ;
- le schisme, y compris donc sédévacantisme ou orthopapisme, c'est dangéreux parce que, regardez le schisme de Martin Luther et les Guerres de Religion engendrées par là ;
- croire la Bible littéralement, c'est chose commune entre Luther et ceux qui l'ont condamné ;
- Luther était novateur, si un jour il y aura des guerres entre Novus Ordo et Tradis, la faite serait avec les novateurs ;
- l'Apocalypse ne vient pas d'Apollon de Delphes, mais de Dieu, y croire est en partie un moyen de différer les catastrophes, et s'il semble y avoir davantage de choses qui pointe vers une fin de temps proche, c'est entre autre parce que trop peu de gens y croient ;
- le Créationnisme Jeune Terre est logiquement et scientifiquement connexe à la Création directe d'Adam et Ève, et à leur chute comme primordiale dans l'histoire humaine, en plus d'être la lecture la plus évidente ;

St. Augustine Taught, Even Sane Men View Delusions by Demons
Spielberg Wants Me to Second Guess My Religion, or So I Have Been Told on FB · St. Augustine Taught, Even Sane Men View Delusions by Demons
When it comes to "aliens", for a long time, psychiatry has held the forefront. Hallucination plus delusion. Needs treatment.
Recently, there is a pushback. Doubly.
UFO-logists are saying "you weren't ill, you met a person from an exo-planet." Christians are saying "you weren't ill, you saw a demon having taken visible form."
Psychiatry obviously is not happy with either approach.
And it seems they have now support from McElroy.
How so? Here is an intro to a video by Anthony Stine:
And then the Cardinal McElroy* in Washington basically said he violated the church's teaching on exorcisms and demonic
0:54 possessions or anything, but then he didn't exactly explain how.
My hunch on how is the rule:
According to the Vatican's guidelines issued in 1999, "the person who claims to be possessed must be evaluated by doctors to rule out a mental or physical illness".
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exorcism_in_the_Catholic_Church
In other words, McElroy wants people already bothered by (not possessed by) demonic "aliens" to be further bothered by shrinks before they can get an exorcist to pray for them even just for protection.
Washington Diocese would be again an example of "get out of her" ...

Apoc.

Given the role of bishops, like the successor of Chaput in Philadelphia, the Bergoglio nominee, there are members of the Harlot in Apocalypse 18 in that clergy.
/HGL
PS, it so happens I bring up some modernist "Catholic" clergy are very clearly Harlot of Babylon, Apoc. 18. Then someone jumps onto it and asks, whether from a Modernist Catholic pov or from that of a Protestant one, if I believe the Catholic Church is that harlot, no, She isn't.
Those Protestants believe in a very early apostasy which for long left no visible Church and only a very discrete and socially / historically unfindable remnant. That is theologically non-sense, it's blatantly against Matthew 28:16—20 as well as Matthew 5:14,15. The verse in St. John's revelation, 18:4, mirrors verses from Isaias and Jeremias, warning Jews to get out of Babylon city, before it was taken by Cyrus. And the Neo-Babylonian Empire had lasted only 90 years, and faithful people of the old covenant had been in it only 70. Not 700 or 1700 years. Hope this clears up the distinction, I'm a Trad, not a Prot.

Y compris psychiatrie.

Tovia Singer thinks Israel is the nation ruled from Knesset
I mean, he thinks this of the Israel in Ezechiel 38 and 39.
I'd like to warn him, this might not be the case.
The forgiveness after exile of which they speak may (38 verse 12) refer to the ones who returned from Babylon, more than 2000 years ago.
And from these descend, not just Jews and Samaritans, but also Christian Palestinians and even Muslim Palestinians.
The Magogian connection may cover Ashkenaz who are of Jewish confession. Because, while Y chromosomes are Abrahamic or at worst Canaanean, mitochondriae are European:
The origins of Ashkenazi Jews remain highly controversial. Like Judaism, mitochondrial DNA is passed along the maternal line. Its variation in the Ashkenazim is highly distinctive, with four major and numerous minor founders. However, due to their rarity in the general population, these founders have been difficult to trace to a source. Here we show that all four major founders, ~40% of Ashkenazi mtDNA variation, have ancestry in prehistoric Europe, rather than the Near East or Caucasus. Furthermore, most of the remaining minor founders share a similar deep European ancestry. Thus the great majority of Ashkenazi maternal lineages were not brought from the Levant, as commonly supposed, nor recruited in the Caucasus, as sometimes suggested, but assimilated within Europe. These results point to a significant role for the conversion of women in the formation of Ashkenazi communities, and provide the foundation for a detailed reconstruction of Ashkenazi genealogical history.

What did Netanyahu Say about Amalek?
Damien Mackey has a piece on Academia, you may need an account and logging in to it to read it:
Netanyahu likes to recall Amalek
By Damien Mackey
https://www.academia.edu/164842664/Netanyahu_likes_to_recall_Amalek
Citing:
Rabbi Jill Jacobs —the head of T’ruah, a rabbinical human rights organziation—said that rabbis generally agree that Amalek no longer exists, and that references to it do not provide a morally acceptable justification for attacking anyone. “The overwhelming history of Jewish interpretation is to interpret it metaphorically,” Jacobs said, explaining that one common approach is to see it as a call to stamp out evil inclinations within ourselves.
I am a Christian.
As such I do not need to deny the literal interpretation to stay clear of incitations to massacre.
You see, to a Christian, such massacres were accepted exceptions during the Old Testament era. Next acceptable exception (yes, there will be one) will not be carried out by men living in their flesh, but by angels or by saints who get an advance in Resurrection:
And the armies that are in heaven followed him on white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean
[Apocalypse (Revelation) 19:14]
This seems to indicate they are angels, not just "armies that are in heaven" but the white linen:
But Mary stood at the sepulchre without, weeping. Now as she was weeping, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre And she saw two angels in white, sitting, one at the head, and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had been laid
[John 20:11-12]
It could also be the martyrs, or both together:
And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held And they cried with a loud voice, saying: How long, O Lord (holy and true) dost thou not judge and revenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth And white robes were given to every one of them one; and it was said to them, that they should rest for a little time, till their fellow servants, and their brethren, who are to be slain, even as they, should be filled up
[Apocalypse (Revelation) 6:9-11]
There is a clear indication that no single nation will be licitly eradicated:
Going therefore, teach ye all nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost
[Matthew 28:19]
The bronze age and early iron age were cruel times overall, so it makes sense that God made exceptional authorizations for cruelties during that time. Since God was born, died and rose, those times are gone, up to when Antichrist brings them back, and that time, it will be killed men or angels who take up the authorized cruelty, not men on earth.
If Netanyahu and the Israeli far right knew this, and you can add Fatah and Hamas to the bunch, the Holy Land might look less like Pharaonic Egypt.

What Exactly Did My Brother Say?
The context is my refusal to take a bank card. Here is one thing he said, with my translation:
Det är svårt att leva i dagens samhälle om man ska avstå det som tillhör "vår tid".
It is hard to live in today's society if one is to renounce what belongs to "our time".
Can one hope he didn't mean it exactly like I will analyse it? I think some do.
Here is my position.
1) I do not renounce every thing that "belongs to our time";
2) I certainly try as best as I can to renounce anything that reminds too much of the mark of the beast;
3) I also renounce things I find unnecessary, which normally I can function and have pleasure without (not to the point of reducing pleasure after pleasure because I try to show I can find pleasure without it);
4) however some people like to make a parody of this:
1) They say I (inconsistently) try to renounce everything that belongs to our time;
2) That I see the mark of the beast everywhere and anywhere;
3) That I hamper myself to the point of handicap;
4) And that they are therefore entitled to make it even harder for me, just to give me a lesson. And, incidentally, to show me what consistency would look like.
I have had electricity cut and showers cancelled in a dayshelter for the homeless. Did it have anything to do with me expressing a preference for the Middle Ages on the internet? If so, it was not paedagogic "consistency" but simply harrassment. Electricity didn't exist as a commodity in the Middle Ages, but warm baths were made available by other means, like fire. The homeless shelter not being built for that means it needs electricity to give me a bath.
I have had high escalators cut and their stairs are not built for commodity in simply walking up.
I have had people cut occasions to access internet, on the theory it didn't exist in the Middle Ages. No, but I could perhaps have been more content with just a quill and ink when that was the fast way of producing reading.
In each case, cutting one corner of modernity simply means making the rest of it harder for me, and unasked for. One thing should be clear. I don't owe modernity loyalty in order to have a right to use it. Their loyalty to it is no excuse for bullying those who express not sharing this loyalty.
Now, how does this apply to bank cards?
1) It doesn't simply belong to our time, like sidewalks vs car lanes, it used to be quite optional less than a decade ago;
2) if it all of a sudden becomes non-optional in order to have an account that can receive money (the one I have so far without a card has been receiving money more than once in the past), that sounds a bit too much like "neither buy nor sell, unless one hath the mark of the beast" especially as paying by card has become heavily promoted a) first (openly) to combat contagion of Covid by "contactless payment" and b) second (at least underhand) as a way for people to avoid giving cash in alms;
3) when I received money from grandmother 2011 and 2012, I used no card to get it out and the account without a card was fine with receiving it, when I've received money from my brother, 2019 and quite a few times more, later, dito;
4) all of a sudden, this is made harder for me, since, a) that account can no longer take in money and b) the account I'm offered to open would have a card.
1) It's untrue that I renounce the card just because it is modern, I renounce it because I shouldn't need it;
2) It's untrue that I see the mark of the beast in anything and everything that's modern (though it may seem to them so if bank cards and cell phones are their favourite selection for modern things, like I might seem to "reject all science" to someone whose favourite items are methodological atheism, heliocentrism, big bang, evolution and not least psychology);
3) I am being hampered by these new measures and in other ways too;
4) and the guys who feel entitled to do that seem to insist I should avoid any and all "Apocalyptic thinking" ... which is obviously overkill. For whatever reasonable purpose (if any at all) they are perhaps against it.
Mother told me, cards were everywhere in Sweden (before she died). They shouldn't be everywhere in France, and I shouldn't get pushed around as if for a readaptation to Sweden as if I were going to return there. Nor should people who find what I write disgusting abuse their power positions to get me humbled.

I didn't get raptured, so some may conclude I'm not yet a Christian.
Or not spiritual enough.
I don't think the Antichrist will look exactly like Nicolae Jetty Carpathia, there is lots of extra-Biblical and possibly even anti-Biblical assumptions in those book series, one of which would be the Rapture were supposed to happen before those 3, 1/2 years. Nope.

Five* comments by me:
Wait, Campbell** isn't the Curate of Ars or Padre Pio?
Who'd have thunk it!
Would you agree that a man like Connor*** who supports Franco can be rationally accounted for by Franco's penal code punishing abortion?
Btw, I've considered Mussolini as favourable over Trump from the fact that Codice Rocco stipulated:
- woman of sane mind over 14 aborting without medical assistance: 1 to 4 years
- with medical assistance: 2 to 5 for her and the provider
- below 14 or not of sane mind: her consent is considered invalid and whoever put her up to it incurs 6 to 12 years.
Both Franco and Mussolini were also much more into affordable housing and either less or less openly into chasing the homeless with "continuity of care".
Oh, there is something distinctly "scarlet beast" (communist) about Trump's attitude to the homeless and also to undocumented immigrants.
And if it joins hands with "leopard" (Rabbinic Judaism, Islam, Puritan Protestantism, probably Theistic Freemasonry for the fourth head) there actually start spark some Apoc. 13 sparks from the administration. OK, not yet at one with the "bear" (Russia or Iran, both having territory from ancient Persia), or with the "lion" (basically Northern Europe with Modernist Anglicanism as well as Colonial Hinduism, Buddhism and Sikhism, at least as remote influences), but that could still come.
Do you think Trump will turn back from there, before it's too late?
Disciple all nations ... thank you for standing up for Clovis and St. Volodymyr of Kyiv ... and the bishops that baptised them.
And Constantine too. I think some have stated it was Pope St. Sylvester who baptised him, but that could be inaccurate.
And I agree on the modern state being very abusive, hence the need to oppose it's abuses against the weak. Be they unborn or undocumented. Or, obviously, unhoused.
In all of which "un-" can be possibly exchanged for "pre-" by the way.
If the magistrate was already instructed in England (where killing babies either side of the birth canal was capital offence in 1500 AD), perhaps in some cases using the sword was a licit means to make some parts of its dominion after it entered error go to magistrates who were still a bit better instructed. Like in Ireland.

*** As I mentioned one debate opponent of Mehdi Hasan, to another one he said "there were more unemployed back then" ... I check, for some years he seems to be right, doesn't mean his overall point is correct, but also not that it isn't:

Evangelicals Also Take a Distance from Extreme Zionism
Facing Gaza as a Christian: I'm afraid I've been silent too long*

Patrick Kahnke is indeed an Evangelical, as per the description on the channel:
Pat Kahnke was an evangelical church planter and pastor for twenty years before retiring from church ministry in 2016. Planted a church in the inner city of St. Paul, MN - part of the Baptist General Conference (Converge) and Alliance for Renewal Churches. A lifelong conservative Republican until the party left him in 2016. Now a political independent, he has written off the Republican party until it completes 40 years in the wilderness for its capitulation to the MAGA movement.

"What If We Don't Come to Christ?" Charlie Kirk was asked — I answer
A woman who confronted Charlie Kirk asked "what are the consequences?"
If you want my answer, we live in the end times. No longer is any state going to persecute more or less normal religions inimical to Christianity, to Catholicism, over them not coming to Catholicism.
If such a thing is set up it will probably be a sham.
I lost hope of seeing the Spanish Inquisition restored as per historic version when on the Pilgrimage to Santiago I heard they were legalising Gay Marriage in Spain.
Even the Spanish Inquisition normally didn't get involved in forcing Jews to convert, that was a recurrent but marginal occurrence in the Middle Ages and it was a bigger one timer in 1492. The official view was "anyone who wants to remain Jewish can do so, he just has to leave Spain within a given time span" ... but some didn't have time, some feared the voyage, some couldn't afford it. In practise, it became a kind of forced conversion, precisely what the Church (on top levels and officially at least) didn't want.
Otherwise, I would hardly be considering the Spanish Inquisition as a moderately good thing.
So the answer is, on earth, you don't have to fear consequences, other than acts of God.
Other than ... that's the rub.
It seems Netanyahu and similar are not coming to Christ and not learning Christian ethics and well ... look up Apocalypse 11. A Jerusalem that's "spiritually Sodom and Egypt" and where 7000 people end up like the followers of Korah.
And their bodies shall lie in the streets of the great city, which is called spiritually, Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord also was crucified
[Apocalypse (Revelation) 11:8]
And at that hour there was made a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell: and there were slain in the earthquake names of men seven thousand: and the rest were cast into a fear, and gave glory to the God of heaven
[Apocalypse (Revelation) 11:13]
But if the Lord do a new thing, and the earth opening her mouth swallow them down, and all things that belong to them, and they go down alive into hell, you shall know that they have blasphemed the Lord
[Numbers 16:30]
Note, I'm not Henoch or Elias, or, according to others, Moses or Elias who are upcoming in Apocalypse 11. I'm not pronouncing anyone's going down swallowed by the earth. Two people killed for speaking the truth, for being faithful to Jesus and for opposing the spiritual identification of Jerusalem with Sodom and Egypt, will rise to heaven, and after that, 7000 will be swallowed by the Earth.
Well, I'd prefer you not going down that road. Or even Netanyahu doing so.

PS, someone asked "if this is a genocide, why is their population growing" ... I suggest God's blessing could be the answer, if you look up Exodus 1./HGL
