Imagine a mother did not want her son to know she had died before he had found a wife, so a year of mourning should not stop him.
Some refused to confirm the news.
Some of these actually wanted to offer him marriage by way of first night = marriage, even without formalities. And as a Catholic, he refused that way out.
Some took his apparent not quite knowledge of his mother's death as proof he was mad and stopped him from getting a wife.
The son figured it out and tried to actually get a wife.*
Who respected the mother, the son, or one of the persons or networks who tried to stop him?/HGL
* Or get into a position where the person he already loved safely could marry him.

I heard of someone looking at discussions in St. Thomas about not everyone always being able to confess the Faith fully and in its integrity with lips.
It came at the right moment, before I went to see my mother and learned she died.

Arrived the TGV that departed 15:12 from Lilles-Flandres, arrived c. 16:14.
I have been absent from Paris since 6.VI, after checking some things in the mail box at the salvation army, and doing some cleaning up before leaving, and from France since 7.VI, arriving in charming Tournai in the evening. Yesterday I found it bad to get through Tournai, so I took Courtrai, only to find it was also in Belgium, contrary to my hazed memory. This morning, I took Courtrai Lille, paying a half price I had no right to and profiting from a hurried or benevolent bus driver, and arrived in Lille. I found the post office open, so I took out money, it turns out it was sufficient for the ticket.
I paid full price, not too expensive, a price that reminds me of mother's birth.
My production on the internet has been low 6.VI to today, some of it has been preprogrammed since before (Corpus Christi, Sacred Heart, the Sunday between), and some real shorties were written while I was on the trip.
If some thought they were giving me a vacation from writing on the internet, my vacation has been more exhausting than my work, in times, especially between 12.VI arrival in Hamburg or especially next day, and when I arrived in a place where I had a friend (will ask his permission to link to a video of his). That would have been Wednesday, so 21.VI. Some kinds of things are better done when one is a child with ones mother or when one is hopeful and relatively undecided and has a good singing voice, at 35 / 36, than when one has one's decisions made up, most of the time, is 54 going on 55, alone, less hopeful, with a singing voice ruined by colds and sometimes throataches and bronchitis. Leaving to hitchhike and walk, without sufficient resources in advance, is one of them. It can be added, ma and me were not huge fans of doing it in North Germany either. Belgium is OK, as the hitchhike to Oostende when going to England in 78 makes it seem, and also my memories from this trip. Still, after North Germany, I was too exhausted and stressed to enjoy Belgium on the return journey. There are noble people there and my friend mentioned is one of them./HGL

I think if he's not wrong himself, though that probably too, on some level, he is also not candid on Russia under him destroying herself at a yorse rate.
Russia had worse abortion numbers per pregnancies back just before the war (or "special operation") than not just Ukraine (still rather bad, but much less), but also than Ukraine's ally Poland, the country closest to abortion free I could find on those stats./HGL

A Grifter? Me?

Some have perhaps pretended I am a grifter. What the accusation generally is worth as such, independently of specific cases, I have already dealt with.
Now, some people might consider me as one.
- I'm homeless, so I am obviously lying about being learned
- I have no computer or cell phone, so I am obviously lying about blogging
- I don't / didn't have the money to pay for a site, so I am obviously lying about having one
- I have been offered quite a lot of unqualified jobs, so I am obviously lying about looking for work
- I have a fairly large sum (but no regular income) on my account, so I am obviously lying about having no money
- I am not a priest, so I am lying about competence in theology
- I have been given the chance to be a "true prophet" by taking no money, when I ask for money this was obviously a bluff on my part
- my prophecies are obviously worthless, since only false prophets (grifters by definition!) ask for money
- my compositions aren't my own since I play no instrument.
- besides, I admitted I got out of prison in 2000, so I am obviously dishonest
Now, let's break each down a bit, shall we?
- "I'm homeless, so I am obviously lying about being learned"
The question isn't, how does a homeless guy get to obtain and assimilate learning, from his homelessness. He probably doesn't, since sleep privations and stress are very huge obstacles to for instance learning a language.
The question is, can a learned man become homeless?
Perhaps by having other reference points than Academia only, less adaptability and (if you like) more integrity than some of the other guys involved, and therefore to do well in the subjects, but not be at home among the people and what they agree on.
Perhaps by having to confront non-Academics that think even less of him, both being strangers to his other reference points, and despising the ivory tower of Academia?
And how can he stay homeless? Well by both Academics and "ivory tower despisers" outside his country on top of this despising him for having become homeless.

Have you heard of cyber cafés and libraries?
They have computers. Libraries often (but not always), cyber cafés always.

Truer before than now, I have some money on my account, but I don't have a card to do online payments in.
This is confusing the category paid site (personalised URL, like "nov9blogg9.com" or "nov9blogg9.fr" instead of nov9blogg9.blogspot.com, paywall to make certain pages available only by paying a subscription, possibility to insert an mp3) with site (including blogs, that are free, and lack all the enumerated features).

That's like saying I've been seen drinking alcohol, so I am obviously lying about becoming a Muslim. I never said I intended to become a Muslim and I never said I was looking for unqualified work. I have said I am a Catholic and also more than once that I am looking for a book publisher (since I don't have a paywall, that is my main hope of making any substantial money from my writing).

The cardboard signs don't say "I have no money" or "I am hungry" or "I am looking for work" like the signs of so many other homeless, they show the URL I want to highlight, often one with the latest post on it - and while the difference of blogs may be a hazzle to a newcomer to them to find my work, they are a boon to the one looking for a specific thing, like:

The thing priests really have monopoly on is certain sacraments. I can't say Holy Mass. I can only assist it. Or, when I can't, say the prayers and spiritually unite myself to the Mass said elsewhere by an actual priest.
Unlike ordination, a degree in theology confers no extra ability, and it only means some studies have been made, and I have made some studies myself, even if I have no degree in theology for it.

A layman who writes in the hope of getting published and claims no personally received revelations for the truth, is not Gehazi if he hopes to get money from book publishing. When Gilbert Keith Chesterton wrote The Everlasting Man, kind of a modern version of City of God, and he got royalties for copies sold of the book, he was not Gehazi.
When Henry M. Morris wrote (parts of) The Genesis Flood, and got royalties from that, he was not Gehazi.
Trying to categorise me along with seers in Garabandal or Medjugorje, 1) as not yet approved seers, who shouldn't promote visions before approval, and 2) as making an actual claim of prophecy and therefore being Gehazi if taking money for any service provided in connexion with it, is a double whammy move to stop me from being a writer, like Chesterton and Morris. The people who do that are not grifters, it's a major swindle, since depriving me, via the people they confuse and the social control they build up around me, from my honest livelihood. Someone can be simply obeying a superior, honestly believing the superior without checking, but somewhere along the line, if someone's making this kind of criticism, and I think someone is, this is a major swindle.

One can compose theory first. And I know a fair bit of music theory.
And no, I don't have any studio for recording it, my blog only shows sheet music and TABS (plus some discussions about my compositions and others' or music in general).

You go to prison for other things than swindles or thefts, like acts of violence, if the judge doesn't consider them legitimate defense. I disagreed with my judges in the second trial, tried to push it to supreme court, was stopped by guards, all of this in 1998. I came out, legally, in 2000, and have not had a prison sentence since then, nor did I have any prison sentence before this occasion. That I am aware of.
Living in the street is exposing me to lots of provocations, and I have been doing that since 2004. If my "act of violence" were not just not an act of self defense, but actually the act of a very violent man, as some would claim, how come I haven't committed another one since I came out? It's been 23 years that I am out of prison, minus less than one month. We are June 6, I came out (served to)** June 30, 2000.
So, is there any other*** reason someone thinks I might be a grifter?

* As with the other blog, it's pretty obvious why the sheet music is on that blog and not on this one here, which is my main blog.
** The actual release day counts as a day served. If you are in prison or any associated facilities in the morning, but not in the evening, that is 1 day. It's not zero days, because you woke up as a captive. It's also not 1/2 day, since that doesn't exist.
*** When I was a parishioner in St. Nicolas du Chardonnet and regularly came also to their soup kitchen, I met two girls from Bismarck, upstate New York, near the Canadian border. I am not sure how the doubt about my being the real writer of my blogs came up, but we agreed on a sign to show I was it, namely I spoke of a recipy, and then next few sessions on the computer involved my publishing this:

Grift · A Grifter? Me?
It seems, first of all, it is a US word. Not UK, not Ireland, not Australia, but mainly US.

So, grift is to swindle what larceny* is to stealing?
There is a problem here. Whether a certain merchandise was in the shop, whether it was paid for, whether it was taken out of the shop, whether the shopowner agreed to get it out of the shop without paying** or not, all of this is fairly straightforward. But whether a certain practise is dishonest, whether it involves tricking someone, is more debatable. Lying is lying, but when the lie is not about the actual value, but about a thing indirectly tied to it - is it still a swindle?*** If you say a horse has good teeth and it has bad teeth, that is a swindle. If you say a horse has been ridden by a duke, that actually says nothing of its value, so pretending it has is not a swindle. Unless of course there is a known interest in collecting objects tied to a particular duke. Or King or Rock and Roll, to take a more realistic example. Sell a Royce as one Elvis owned, and he didn't, that's swindle. You are swindling someone trying to collect Elvis items, and failing to get a real one. I am obviously speaking of sums that are totally out of proportion to the thing presumed to have been owned as simply useful objects. Sums one can only dream of by speaking up it is from Elvis.
It's ironic that an English civilisation which between 1500 and 1600 underwent major upheavals and bloodbaths over pretending, among other things, relics were a kind of grift, when in fact relics are often enough given as gifts or exchanged for other objects of the Catholic cult, should end up chasing after relics of another type, where the pricing is such that major swindles, far beyond grifts, are in fact possible. But anyway, the Catholic will not concede that the relics are a grift, and the Elvis swindles are way beyond grift, just as fake Rembrandt paintings are. So, it is kind of outside the subject.
Many views not only does not mean the page is good (pornography can get many views), but is not even tying the page to a specific name, either of a rock star or of a saint. So, is it worth bothering about?
If it isn't, US Americans bickering over this type of possible grift says something about the culture of those so bickering. Click fraud, when I look it up, can land no one in prison, it just serves as an excuse for platforms to cull away views on the suspicion that they are click farm generated. And the more the US culture bickers over grift, the more such content platforms cull away, including real views.
Now, I am not paid per view, but the more views I have, supposing them legitimate (which they seem to be), the more interest I could be to a book publisher. And, unlike page views, sold copies are not so easy to fake and also not so interesting to fake.
I wonder if any grift recognised as such is mortally sinful - but this is because I am very sure that taking interest on money loans is not usually recognised as a grift. Palm reading is actually worse if in a case it is not a grift, since it would take demons for it to work.

Si vous voyiez un avis de recherche "fugué, idées délirantes" - vous feriez quoi ?
Je veux dire si vous rencontriez la personne.
Moi, d'abord, je ne donnerais pas un coup de file s'il semblait composé, et pas non plus, si sa nervosité semblait uniquement liée à la perspective de retourner en psychiatrie.
Une idée délirante pourrait être quelque chose de vraiment obviement nuisible, comme "je suis Superman, je dois voler par l'air, invulnérable, envers des bandits" mais ça peut être, apparemment, des désaccords idéologiques aussi. Si personne n'avait tamponné mes idées comme délirantes, pourquoi n'ai-je pas encore un éditeur (après 14 ans d'écriture, non "sur un livre" mais sur des blogs permettant une publication en forme de collection d'essais, par exemple) ?
Ou les gens qui nuisent les libertés de quelqu'un pourraient tamponner comme délirant l'idée que les libertés sont piétinés. Dans les derniers temps, ne vont pas des faux Chrétiens tamponner le vrai Christianisme comme un délire ? Ce serait une manière d'empêcher à ceux qui refusent le marque de la bête de faire des affaires./HGL
Le dernier juin 2000, je sortais d'une peine de prison, dernier tiers en sursis
À cause de certains dispositifs qui ressemblent un peu un loi par Taubira, contre (ou "pour le bien des") ex-taulards, on m'avais déjà obligé de dire ce que j'allais faire et surtout où j'allais vivre après la prison. Ceci m'a obligé de vivre en Tanguy.
Les lois ont changé dans les mois après ma sortie, je ne pouvais soudainement plus chercher du travail comme professeur. J'avais selon les juges en second instance commis un délit de violence, d'une peine supérieur à un an ou à deux ans. Circonstances non-obstantes (la première instance m'avait accordé défense putative, je pense moi-même défense légitime), je ne pouvais plus chercher du travail comme professeur. Dernière recherche m'avait permis de visiter Stockholm. Mes chances d'avoir un poste étaient de toute manière très minces, je n'avais pas fait la fac pour la pédagogie, je n'avais que les conaissances des sujets, ce qui est insuffisant, dans le système suédois (l'école obligatoire mettant dans l'école un tas de jeunes qui préféreraient faire autre chose, et mon niveau dans les sujets correspondait à des élèves en adolescence).
Prochaine année, ma mère fait un accident, elle doit avoir 6 semaines en hôpital. Pour la visiter, sans carte de bus, et deux heures de marche éloigné de chez nous, je me dois aussi rendre à la bibliothèque municipale. Je découvre l'internet. Je commence à encore une fois faire quelque chose, mais cette fois pour amuser les gens avec les mêmes goûts (tolkiéniens et c-s-lewisiens) et pour instruire ceux qui manquent ma foi (catholique). J'espère en faire un pour-vivre un jour, déjà en 2001. En début 2003, on me pousse à toucher mon héritage, l'argent mis à côté d'une vente de propriété, pour qu'il ne soit pas supprimé par la banque. Je partage en dernier moment avec ma sœur et sur ma part, je recommence les études, cette fois en lithuanien et en histoire culturelle de la Lithuanie. L'automne 2003, les cours concernant ce pays balte sont en retard, mais je continue d'étudier, cette fois le polonais et l'histoire culturelle surtout des autres pays baltes (Estonie et Lettonie). Je suis capable de payer un ou deux mensualités chez ma mère. Le sémestre de printemps de 2004 commence avec un retard - j'avais appliqué en retard pour le bourse, que j'avais déjà utilisé pour l'automne. On attend une mensualité, quand elle ne vient pas, on met pression sur ma mère de quitter l'appartement, ce qui m'oblige soit de chercher un autre, soit de m'en aller sur les routes. C'est ce dernier, mon choix.
Mars 2004 jusqu'en 17 mars 2005, à travers des foyers à Copenhague et Berlin, à travers des gîtes de pèlerins en Espagne, à travers le stop et le pèlerinage à pied, à travers deux hospitalités aussi, de temps en temps je cherche de reprendre les études ailleurs. Universités de Copenhague, d'Osnabrück, de St. Jacques de Compostèle, l'Université Libre de Berlin effleurent mon esprit. Chez cette dernière je visite déjà les bâtiments de l'institution pour l'Indo-Européen, je vais à une ou deux cours de vieil irlandais, et j'utilise leur ordinateur. Le 17 mars, le chef là bas m'engueule, je m'en vais vers Paris, où j'arrive le 8 avril, si c'était pas le 9.
1:er mai 2005 jusqu'à l'été 2009, je fais les routes du Sud, d'abord le Sud-Ouest, ensuire le Sud-Est. Je recommence à écrire et a componer de la musique, publié sur internet. Février 2009 un tas de posts d'un groupe MSN doivent en urgence être rechargés sur mon compte blogger. En parallèle, je fais la route et pas juste la rue, une raison pourquoi je n'ai pas eu le temps de faire ceci en complet. Par contre, je trouve qu'on a mal à comprendre que je suis un écrivain et un compositeur, et une fois retourné à Paris, je me borne presque tout le temps à la région parisienne. St. Nicolas du Chardonnet me connaît, des associations me connaissent, je m'annonce à droite et à gauche comme écrivain, comme compositeur.
Pourtant, ça ne marche pas.
En 2020, le 16 mars, je vais dans l'arrondissement où je me suis trouvé depuis. Tôt, je suis accosté par un travailleur social, quelqu'un qui imagine que j'aurais quitté la Suède sur un coup de tête. À pas mal de gens j'explique que je suis un écrivain et compositeur.
Mes blogs ont 10 000 posts, 4 millions de vues. Une composition a eu 3080 vues, sur un blog ayant maintenant plus que 100 000.

Pourtant, au lieu d'avoir un revenu de mes blogs, des posts pour des livres et des compositions pour concerts ou enrégistrements, on tient le fait que je suis sdf contre moi et contre mes compositions et écrits, et ensuite ce manque de revenu perpétue mon existence sans logis./HGL
