He is also Tramp in a specific kind of vicar. He has vicars for His authority over souls : Popes down to Exorcists. He has vicars for His authority over nations : Kings an Emperors down to policemen (in their legitimate duties). He has vicars as speakers of truth, the hagiographers individually fully, the Church Fathers at least collectively, the good authors apart from these at least partially, from St. Thomas Aquinas to G. K. Chesterton.

He also has another kind of vicars:

And the king answering, shall say to them: Amen I say to you, as long as you did it to one of these my least brethren, you did it to me

A Christian tramp is in this sense a kind of vicar of Christ, and precisely of Christ the King, if you look up the beginning of the passage:

And when the Son of man shall come in his majesty, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit upon the seat of his majesty
[Matthew 25:31]

King or Tramp? Aragorn in a novel, to a less degree King St. Oswald in real life, and part time King Alfred even more than Oswald were both.

And yes, a beggar is likelier to want to watch the Kingship of Jesus. Or even needs it more, his Friend above Friends is King of Heaven. But some people who could give to beggars need sometimes to be reminded of this type of vicars of the King of Glory.

The resources of the Church are sufficient for BOTH kinds of displays, don't tell me either of them should have been economised to give the money to the poor, I prefer St. Mary Magdalene over Judas!/HGL

While I hope the best for those displaced by the fires, while I am thankful this does not involve Anaheim or Newport Beach, which are fond memories of hospitality from when I became a Christian and a speaker of English, I also hope some of the guys who are now suffering bad things will one day, the sooner the better, speak up against bad solutions.

By the way, if you have the ways past Anaheim, they are collecting relief supplies for those in need nearby.

Dans le bus, j'entendis une conversation

Peut-être qu'on ait voulu me la faire entendre. Peut-être elle s'agissait de moi. Le nom du concerné n'était pas mentionné, mais à la fin j'ai eu une indication qui pourrait confirmer, juste avant que ces gens partaient du bus.

Si ce n'était pas de moi, ce n'est pas grave, je suis assez sûr par rapport à ma situation que d'autres disent un peu pareil sur moi, derrière mon dos. Et je ne connais pas les noms et ne décris pas les visages des gens, dont une dame qui était peut-être volontairement indiscrète. Je prends ceci comme exemple.

Bon, je n'ai pas entendu tout. Je n'ai surtout pas mémorisé tout.

Mais deux choses me restent dans la mémoire.

• Elle ne supportait pas de voir le problème persister et de l'affronter de jour en jour. Il y a pas mal de gens qui occasionnent ce genre de réflexion qu'elle soit ailleurs avec ou sans raison. Il y a surtout pas mal des sdf qui l'occasionnent.
• "bla bla bla, sa capuche, sinon il faut l'enlever" ... il y a moins d'sdf qui portent ce couvrechef médiéval, dans le quottidien, même les non-sdf, pas mal se limitent de la porter en fête médiévale ou en faisant le théatre. Là, je pourrais être visé avec une probabilité accrue.

La dame n'est pas identifié, si je la présente comme assez huppée. Elle n'est pas smicarde ou ex-smicarde. Sa retraite pourrait avoir une composante de rente, de fortune. Elle est quelque part la classe qui n'aime pas les expropriations collectivistes.

Ça lui siérait assez mal de promouvoir des expropriations envers des individus. Si on prône une discipline collectiviste ne respectant pas la propriété privée vis-à-vis quelqu'un de plus pauvre, on mérite de se retrouver frappé par ce genre de discipline collectiviste aussi. Telle est ma réflexion vis-à-vis des gens qui préféreraient que je me confie aux cotraintes qui vont avec un hébergément à une certaine association dans un quartier pas trop loin. Telle est ma réflexion vis-à-vis des gens qui aimeraient ME changer l'apparence ou changer l'apparence de MES choses aussi, par exemple en enlevant quelque chose.

Des capuches ont été enlevées. J'en ai refait d'autres. Pour celle que j'ai, j'ai commencé de refaire une autre. Non pas parce qu'elle soit moche à la base, j'ai eu des problèmes avec les détails autour du cou, mais je commence à les réduire. Mais le tissu extérieur commence à se délabrer. Si tel est son problème, je suis en train de le regler.

Un autre problème qu'elle pourrait en avoir, je ne réglererai pas. Au dos, la capuche a une broderie avec mon blog créationniste. Non, ça ne veut pas dire blog avec mes créations artistiques. Ça veut dire le blog où je propose l'idée ou l'idéologie qu'on appelle le créationnisme, plus précisément le créationnisme jeune terre.

Je dirais que cette dame (si c'était à mon propos) mériterait d'être frappé par expropriation communiste. Ce qui n'est pas une promotion du Communisme. Il y a d'autres qui ne le méritent pas, y compris moi, tout d'abord. Je ne sais pas si la dame était d'une droite ou de la gauche caviar. Moi je suis d'une droite, et d'une droite trop populiste pour aimer la prodigation des soins psychiatriques à droite et a gauche mais surtout contre les pauvres, comme une extra couche de l'abaissement social. Ce qui ne se limite pas aux emprisonnements en HP, aux médications, à embrigader des gens en thérapies (même à conversation) mais aussi des gestes un peu "pédagogiques" comme ça me semble sugéré envers moi ou envers un autre, dans cette conversation.

Je ne suis nullement voleur en y logeant, et s'il me dirait de partir j'aimerais un délai pour choisir les choses à amener et de faire mon bagage, mais je respecterais. Meanwhile, 15 weeks goes beyond the "normal case" 12 week limit of Sweden, similar to previously France, which raised it to 14 weeks.

However, you have consistently have fewer abortions per 1000 live births than both Sweden and France. Some say, this proves "it's not a question of resources" ... not totally off, but not totally right either. It's true that Sweden and France will give more doles than most states and cities in the US.

But there are things that are more numerous in the US — like opportunities for teens to marry. Or for pregnant teens to just arrange things with the family, without social services poking. What Sweden spends on the poor, on tax payer expense, well, half goes to the pockets of the poor (and sometimes just to their fridges), but half actually goes to the guys who run the lives of our poor poor ... often to their disadvantage.

And part of that is, Sweden has stricter age limits for marriage. The general public in Sweden would stamp things in the US like paedophilia, simply because some states allow marriage below 18 and especially even below 15.

I think Russia has lots of that left from the Soviet era. Sweden got our sexual morality corrupted from that region, the league for sex education, abortion and condoms that's RFSU is founded by a Lutheran clergyman's daughter, but it received moral support and ideological fill-ins from a certain Aleksandra Kollontai. At least, at the very least, keep teen marriages in the US legal! And for states where this is not the case, well, if some have compared you to Nazis, why not take one of their good ideas? Lebensborn. I don't mean the eugenics crimes or the child stealing that they also did, I simply mean, pregnant teens who under Prussian laws couldn't marry before 18, were not without support. OK, it was abused to get some teen girls act as concubines of SS, but it was not pro-abortion. I'm not a Nazi. I believe Austro-Fascism and the régime of Franco were LOTS better than Nazi Germany. But then, in Spain and in Austria, a girl didn't have to wait to 18 or 21 before getting married.

Teen marriages are better than Lebensborn. But abortions are way worse.

Still, even so, I'm relieved it was not Kamala Harris who won.

Also, I'd appreciate not to have people given powers over the homeless to force them on tax payer money into half way houses.

His point is basically, "if Capitalism is coercive, so is Communism" and cites:

"He who does not work, neither shall he eat"

From Article 12.

If you think that is Biblical, think again. Here are the actual words of St. Paul:

For also when we were with you, this we declared to you: that, if any man will not work, neither let him eat.
[2 Thessalonians 3:10]

Note, he does not say "does not work" but "will not work" = "is not willing to work" ...

So, is at any time begging justified?

Well, there are those who can not work, because they have an inherent disability. If you have a broken leg, you can't shove a wheelbarrow. If you sit in a wheelchair, you are not fit to get grapes from the stock to the press (or to a larger collector which then takes them to the press). If you are blind, you could have problems as a proofreader ...

There are also those who can not work, because their qualifications will not give them a work to do. St. Thomas considers that in such a case, someone has the right to beg as long as he has not acquired a qualification for a job and no one offers him to work up his qualifications. Here he draws a distinction. Christian humility would oblige to be an apprentice, even at advanced age, or at least as an adult, as often as is necessary, until one has acquired at least one qualification which will provide at least one paid work. However, he notes, according to the laws of the emperors, there is a limitation, and I think he means Holy Roman rather than Constantinopolitan ones, the Frankokratia ended in 1261, which ws before he died, but not all that much. Renewing rules from before it would hardly have been on St. Thomas radar. The limitation is, if you are not able to get paid for work in either of two trades you already know, you do have a right to beg. St. Thomas considers a Christian in the state of grace owes the virtue of humility to go beyond that, and learn even more trades, until he finds one to give him actual pay.

However, this is about begging while giving nothing in return. This is not about busking or preaching as a friar. If you actually provide a service and instead of charging a set fee admit people to remunerate you as they like, that's technically begging, but it is not like begging and giving nothing in return. A friar who promises to pray for people has to work against temptations to stay in the state of grace and also to work to keep the hours of prayer and possibly extra prayers like the rosary. A street singer (which I was prior to 2006) needs to work to know songs and performing them is itself work even if you do know them. Back in the time, I could not keep singing for longer than say 30—45 minutes, but in good places, that certainly WOULD give me sufficient for the day or at least for the morning or evening. In France, I came across less good places, and in 2006, I got my voice marred, so I haven't been singing since then. I did not learn an instrument prior to leaving Sweden, and so, once the good voice was gone, offering music was gone.

Between the preaching of a friar and the entertainment of a song text that's at least moderately edifying*, you have sth like essays to read. That's what I am offering now.

In Communism, as well as in some versions of Capitalism, I would be punished if begging, and therefore condemned to get employment or starve. In other and freer societies, where Capitalism hasn't that much destroyed the Catholic respect for beggars, and this is where I have seen France, I can both beg, and write, and offer what I write to those who give when I beg. In the totality of the free world, it is at least theoretically possible for people who have more resources than I and who appreciate my writings to start a publishing house to get themselves as well as me an income from what I write.

There have unfortunately been some campaigns around where I beg to stop this, and to make sure as many as possible give without looking at my URLs or pass the URLs on to someone else, perhaps in the Chinese Communist Party, perhaps among Protestants in Singapore, perhaps among some German Protestants who are both very liberal about Biblical inerrancy and very anti-Catholic about what they do take seriously in the Bible, and obviously Muslims who don't like the Trinity of calling the Blessed Virgin Mother of God, or alcohol or not having an employment, especially if this in the immediate term means I have no income, and Jews who don't like my take on IDF and their hatred of the cross on a grave, and a few others are very happy if as few as possible ask what I wrote latest and as many as possible ask when I'll ask for work.

This is however not the manners of a free country, it's more becoming to a Communist Tyranny. Yes, some of the Protestant Conservatisms had similar manners even before the Russian Revolution, and England was one of them. That is part of what Chesterton was writing against. But even that is a far cry from societies with real Catholic heritage.

Meanwhile, it is very disingenious to cite the Bible, when in fact I am not just willing to work, but actually do lots of work, on writing. It is also read, but sometimes by the wrong people. Wrong for my best interests in this world that is, they could be providing some kind of mission field, but I didn't exactly sign up as a missionary. I'm an apologist, responsible to provide answers, not a missionary, responsible to sacrifice myself to win souls.

Dominik Tarczynski said there were not homeless bc of the strict immigration politics. That's perhaps not quite true. So, where are the homeless?

Can they beg or busk on the streets, provided they are peaceful and orderly? Or are they shoved into places with regulations? Or do they survive in different places different nights, always on the move?

For children, we know most are in institutions.

Most of these children live in special institutions or homes for mothers with minor children or pregnant women.

The same would be true for women, especially with children or expecting. What about the rest? I'm not saying someone begging from the terrasse is ideal, but can anyone beg at all? Especially, can Poles do so? After John II outlawed begging, France suffered the Hundred Years' War. He lived his last 8 years as English prisoner, taken 1356 and dead in London 1364. After Lewis XIV did about the same, it took about 100 years before France suffered a Revolution, which was going to include English interference. A Swedish King did a similar thing, forget which one, and we had the Deformation./HGL

As I am a rough sleeper myself, this strikes a note:

While it is certainly my choice to prefer "rough sleeping" over night shelters, me having sufficient experience of barracks to last me a lifetime, it is definitely not my choice to remain homeless, as a writer, I have done plenty to earn a way back into private lodgings, and the guys who have spoken of "lifestyle" choice have glossed over this, as if all my writing were just a kind of tic or a symptom I invited shrinks to study, rather than a product I invite the public to read.

Now, for diverse reasons I don't want a tent myself, but I don't want those wanting tents to be deprived of them bc of Suella de Vil ... sorry, Braverman./HGL

• et si vous restez chez vos affaires, réveillé, en train de faire des sudokus, il y a des gens qui veulent vous gêner pour ça aussi ... comme aujourd'hui un homme de comportement odieux, qui se mettait à côté de moi, sans me regarder, sans me parler, juste observer les bâtiments desquels j'occupe la devanture — ils sont en travaux, c'est pour ça qu'on me permet d'occuper la devanture, non ? Mais cet homme tenait à me gêner là-dessus, pour m'humilier.

Fort bien, que pourriez-vous réaliser dans votre vie avec une situation pareille ?

Moi, j'écris.

Cet homme avait l'intention de me couper des amis que j'avais fait là-bas, de "sonner l'alarme" que l'écrivain lu était un sdf "pénible" (j'avoue que le genre de situation ne me permet pas de faire un grand menage parmi mes choses, je couvre ce que je peux), et ces 24 h j'ai eu 10 lecteurs de la France.

On parle des incivilités, parfois, perpétrés par des mendiants. On parle moins des incivilités perpétrés contre eux.

Cette nuit, j'étais endormi, une dame me tirait une tirade en me réveillant comme quoi je ne devais pas être là.

Je lui signalais que j'avais parlé avec le gardien, et j'allais quitter l'endroit le matin. Et je lui demandais l'heure. "Minuit et demie".

Je m'endormais après 1:59 (constaté sur horodateur) après de pisser dans des buissons, pour que ce ne pue pas. Entretemps, qu'est-ce qui m'a empêché de m'endormir?

Première chose, un homme, également vieux, égalament français (apparamment), probablement le mari de la dame, sort pour me prendre en photo avec mes choses, avec mon bagage.

Deuxième réveil, un homme frappe les volets, probablement encore de la dame, et il entre par la porte. Il avait une trottinette, il avait l'uniforme d'un pompier, et il frappait les volets quand j'étais en train de me rendormir. Donc, il m'en empêchait. S'il avait vécu là habituellement, il aurait eu une clef, non? Pas sûr, mais probable.

Troisième chose, deux jeunes, beurs cette fois, passent, et ils parlent à haute voix de manière que je me voyais encore une fois empêché de me rendormir.

Quatrième chose, une voiture passe avec grand bruit.

Cinquième chose, je note que j'ai besoin de pisser, je me rétiens, et uniquement après quelque temps j'arrive à me décider de m'en aller sans bruits à côté, là où je trouve des buissons. Notons, j'avais pas bu d'alcool le soir, si je l'avais fais, j'aurais normalement pissé bien avant d'aller me coucher, et je n'aurais pas eu ce problème.

Qui parie que la dame avait appelé le pompier, les deux jeunes beurs, la voiture, ou peut-être des gens qui l'avaient arrangé pour elle? Il y a des gens pour qui ce genre d'incivilité envers un sdf, envers un clochard, va de soi comme de civisme, vigilance, prudence ...

Il arrive que des sdf s'énervent, mais des gens comme ça font qu'ils s'énervent.

Peut-être dira-t-on que j'aurais été mieux avisé de prendre un accueil de nuit. Or, les accueils de nuit, ce genre d'événements, c'est pas juste un risque, c'est quasi une certitude. On n'y dort pas. Ou, si on y dort, on aura bu davantage de vin avant d'entrer que juste la quantité pour bien pisser. Ces gens là dorment, ils ronflent, et si on ne se réveille pas par le ronflement, on se réveille quand quelqu'un crie "qui ronfle?!"

Je connais ça un peu, par exemple deux semaines à Aix, donc je l'évite, tant que je peux. Si une personne ayant un appartement me propose ça, je prends ça comme un insulte.

Imaginez que vous êtes peintre (je ne le suis pas, mais bon, c'est plus commun que mon truc)

Imaginez qu'un jour vous êtes dans la rue, et une association vous accueille, et on vous dit qu'on va vous essayer de trouver un truc en tant que peintre.

Imaginez que les mois passent, et vous vous rendez compte qu'on vous demande de prouver que vous êtes capable de tel ou tel ou encore tel chose qui est requise d'un coureur marathon, et on s'en fout très strictement de chaque chose qui aurais un rapport avec vos canevas, vos couleurs, vos pinceaux fines ou épaisses, vos palettes, vos traits arrondis ou zigzagués, vos choix de modèles (nus ou vêtus ou fruits sur une table), et tout ça, mais on vous demande fois après fois des exercices qui semblent davantage orientés vers une carrière de coureur de marathon.

Ou si vous disiez que vous étiez menuisier, et on vous demandait de faire le bûcheron.

Ou si vous disiez que vous voudriez couper les cheveux, et on vous demandait chaque qualification requise pour brosser les chaussures des passants, tour à tour.

Vous pourriez commencer de croire que cette association se fout aussi très strictement de votre choix de métier, c'est eux qui vous ont assigné un rôle.

Imaginez ensuite que vous avez d'autres associations à essayer, et même chose vous arrive là.

Vous pourriez commencer d'imaginer qu'on conspire pour vous empêcher d'être peintre, menuisier, coiffeur, et de vous forcer de devenir coureur de marathon, bûcheron, ou à défaut brosseur des chaussures des passants.

C'est à peu près ce qui m'arrive. Pour écrivain, on n'a pas besoin d'être capable de parler à tous le monde, y compris le plus ennuyeux. On n'a pas besoin de patienter pour avoir un éditeur, ça arrive ou ça n'arrive pas qu'on vous laisse attendre, mais ce n'est pas un requis du métier (juste que c'est un requis de ne pas laisser tomber si on vous laisse attendre, paraît qu'Astrid Lindgren avait envoyé un manuscrit à 50 ou 100 éditeurs avant d'avoir telle ou telle ouverture, je ne sais plus si c'était Britt-Marie ou si c'était son grand brise-glace Fifi Brindacier).

Mais on a besoin d'avoir des sujets qui intéressent, de les connaître, de se faire visible. Et dans le domaine d'écriture d'idées, de répondre aux objections des gens qui ne sont pas d'accord, plus vous avez une connaissance précise de leurs objections, plus ça aide.

Or, pour une existence comme assisté des hôpitaux ou des services sociaux, ou que ce soit comme missionnaire (pôle coureur de marathon ou pôle brosseur de chaussures), on a besoin de ça, et ce n'est pas ça que je présentais comme mon plan de relance.

Une volontaire d'assoc venait de me dire de passer à 15:00. J'y étais. Avant 15:00. J'y partais pas avant 16:21 (vérifié l'arrêt de bus devant).

Je n'ai pas eu le courriel de cette volontaire, par lequel j'aurais proposé une enquête par correspondences avec des savants comme public général, entre 5 et 10 personnes, nommés ou anonymes selon leurs choix, de faire connaître mes tables pour carbone 14, et de commencer un débat avec ceux qui (en tant que bons évolutionnistes éduqués en France qui est une mini-Soviétique par la laïcité des savants depuis des lustres) ne seraient pas d'accord.

Elle m'avait dit en avance que les bons tuyaux manquaient, mais pas qu'elle allait me faire patienter 1:20.

Là, je dois conclure, elle s'intéresse davantage de me préparer à une existence comme assisté. Ce n'était jamais mon plan en allant là-bas.

J'étais au COREP (Place de l'Horloge) pour faire des photocopies, le papier c'est planqué dans la photocopieuse plusieurs fois, dernière fois ils n'ont pas voulu faire quoi que ce soit pour corriger la machine, l'autre juste à côté était occupée, finalement j'ai pris le grand quand même.

À propos l'autre qui était occupée, celle qui avait un grand tas de photocopies était dehors et a pu voir ce qui se passait.

Quand finalement je sors, mes choses sont enlevées.

Un grand sac macramé avec sac de couchage, avec petit sac avec mon linge, avec encore une couverture en gris, un cabas taille moyenne en bleu, deux sacs cabas en gris avec des grandes "manches" et deux autres en blanc et de Carrefour.

Dedans, choses à coudre, un pantalon propre, d'autres trucs qui servent pour l'hiver, mes livres, mes blocnotes, mes stylos. Des choses qui servent, sinon toutes, au moins grande partie, et j'étais en train de faire le tri.

Et factures de l'autorité suédoise de la bourse.

La veille, j'avais aussi copié au COREP et j'ai fait des copies en moindre et moindre miniature de quelques URL. La gérante de COREP a dû être impliquée pour un changement de papier.

ET le ministre de l'intérieur avait déjà été informé du fait que la procédure me coûtait peu et donnait un grand rendement d'exemplaires des URL.

Donc, deux théories, soit on a voulu harceler un sdf avec trop de bagage; soit on a voulu empêcher que je distribue ces URL.

Le respect pour la liberté d'expression est sélectif en France. J'ai eu il y a des années un policier pointer son fusil à moi pour que je ne participe pas dans la prière de réparation devant la pièce de Castellucci. Car là, la prière était apperçue (hypocritement) comme une entrave aux libertés d'expression de Castellucci et du théâtre.

Déjà, si quelqu'un prétend qu'on a voulu m'aider, simplifier ma vie, l'occasion a été là.

Le modus aurait pu être une frauduleuse demande d’enlèvement d'encombres.

J'aimerais bien entendu retrouver mes choses, mais l'un me dirige vers l'autre vers le tiers et quatrième ... un peu comme le film les Douze Travaux d'Astérix.

PS. Plus tard, au numéro de téléphone 01.55.34.77.17 qu'on venait de m'indiquer à l'accueil de la Mairie, on vient de me dire qu'on n'ai pas eu ces sacs, parce qu'on ne prend pas de vêtement, "quelqu'un t'as volé tes courses". (12:35).

Très évidemment, comme un autre jour quand juste des feuilles avec URL avaient été enlevées du sac, on ne tient pas tellement à mes droits qu'à son propre désir de contrôler ce que je répand comme blogs./HGL

This is also why I don't like Communism. It must have been especially hard on Till Lindemann - since he could look back on Till Eulenspiegel; who in the Middle Ages was a much more successful shirker in a society where locally self governed cities would sometimes have similar regulations, but lighter ones : if you didn't have a penny, you would be asked what trade you were, and given an opportunity to exercise it, or you would be given opportunity to learn one.

Note, this was only Empire, and because they had decided to revive Roman Law. In Rome, there had been a worse law, In incertum vagantes. It was reinterpreted so that slavery was replaced by forced apprenticeship - and this only until you had learned two trades.

Some might consider my writings useless or harmful. Last month, at least 1500 page views were from four Muslim countries. As I am a Christian, obviously they will consider my defense of Christianity - not just the parts in common with Islam, but the parts attacked, including the parts attacked by Muslims - as harmful. Similarily with Communists from Communist or post-Communist countries like Vietnam, Russia, Ukraine. I am attacking Evolution, am I not? And in France, where I live, most Catholics are accepting "Pope Francis", Vatican II, and consequently Evolution and Heliocentrism. Even among conservative opponents of Vatican II, some will defend Evolution and nearly all Heliocentrism, as per the attitude of Pius XII. Meaning that in Humani Generis or later, and even from 1945, when Augustin Bea became his father confessor, Pius XII was weak against Evolution, and so, for instance the Society of St Pius X (which seems to take more cues from Pius XII than from their nominal patron) is not very supportive, to say the least.

So, many would think my writing is useless. I think they are wrong.

And meanwhile, I am thankful modern Western society (West of former Iron Curtain) has no such laws as even Medieval Germany on this account, let alone East Germany. Even if some Masons and perhaps Communist networks would like to impose on me a now dead Communist system of legislation.

The reason why even Putin cannot keep up old age pensions any more is not that there is too much freedom not to have paid work after Communism (I'm not sure this freedom even exists in today's Russia). It is that too few are working in comparison to the previous generation, due to abortion and contraception. Those are the bad freedoms that really do need to be attacked.

En France, on pratique chaque année 220 000 avortements pour environ 800 000 naissances. 1 conception d’enfant sur 5 se termine donc par une IVG. Nous sommes 17 millions de personnes nées depuis 1975 à être statistiquement des rescapés de l’IVG, puisque nous avions 1 chance sur 5 de ne pas vivre.

Pour certains d’entre nous, c’est moins drôle puisque nos frères ou nos sœurs ont été avortés avant ou après nous.
