If You Get a 13 Year Old Girl Pregnant ...

... you should normally have life time sentence. It should be pronounced by a priest, if you are both Catholics, an Imam if you are both Muslims, a Rabbi if you are both Jews and so on. And you should be happy about it.

But, some people believe you should have a few years in gaol, the baby death penalty for having you as father, or rather, for having the 13 year old girl as mother and that she should have life time (or whatever time may suit) with shrinks over the trauma of seeing you in gaol and aborting.

One good thing about Putin's Russia is, some teens have given birth:

But one of the fathers tried to deny it, one of the girls had to fight her mother in order to not abort, one of the fathers could not marry the mother of his baby because of being sentenced to 8 years over having an affair with her. These things remind me so much of ... Communism.

But suppose that the girls could legally have married (one married by having connections), wouldn't some have got better husbands, wouldn't the teacher have said simply "sorry, I can't teach her since I am going to marry her and am father of her child, can you get another teacher for her?" and wouldn't there be lots fewer abortions?

There is something wrong with a country in which a 12 year old girl cannot marry but can abort if she gets pregnant. There are lots of things that are wrong with lots of other countries as well, including this one. It was not wrong in the Medieval society.

What was right and went wrong can be set right again! Lower marital age, forbid and enforce the ban on abortion.
