IDF seems to destroy the Church of the Holy Family. Their supporter in Washington is refusing to acknowledge that the Holy Family were undocumented migrants.

If only because passports and paper work before receiving them wasn't a thing 2000 years ago.

But in that year, before 6 AD, going from Bethlehem to maybe Alexandria, maybe Gaza, was crossing a frontier. Egypt was a Roman Province. Judah was still a few years going on to be a semi-independent kingdom, a protectorate with nominal sovereignty. More than a month earlier, they had crossed another frontier between the Roman province Galilee and the kingdom of Judah. Also without showing a passport.

A Pass-Card Treaty of October 18, 1850 among German states standardized information including issuing state, name, status, residence, and description of bearer. Tramping journeymen and jobseekers of all kinds were not to receive pass-cards.
