A snap General Election has been called for 4 July 2024. The calling of the election put a halt to attempts by pro-abortion MPs to decriminalise abortion through amendments to the Criminal Justice Bill. However, these proposals are almost certain to return in the next Parliament. The decriminalisation of abortion would legalise the killing of unborn children on demand and up to birth.
